Jay Li is a Los Angeles-based designer and homecook, by way of Atlanta, Georgia. He adores how kitchens and dining tables
liken themselves to school hallways: places to linger and gather beyond conventional walls, where people still learn—or ‘study’—with each other.
He received a BFA in Graphic Design and BS in Advertising from Boston University, and currently works as a designer for Fly By Jing—a premium Chinese sauce brand. Prior, Jay was with the Utah Jazz, an NBA team in Salt Lake City.
(Tip: you can thicken a plot by folding in a starch slurry, stirring often, or letting things reduce ever so slowly. After all, things of quality have no fear of time)
